A 2500 Square foot installation at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in the summer of 2011. The surfaces were industrial tarps from a local recycling center with shadows projected from the interior. Five openings revealed five versions of my studio space in various states of transformation in relation to the city beyond.

Viewers were guided down a hallway, discovering openings and windows along the way.
This view revealed a decaying factory building and the illusion of deep space at dusk.
Partially visible is the elevated train and the abandoned buildings adjacent to it.
The city is being rebuilt from the remains of the old.
Partially covered doorways offer glimpses of greenhouses gently glowing in the dark against a backdrop of powerlines.
Some openings revealed the materials and methods that produced the illusions.
