This piece include a tiny staircase that begins near the top of the visible part here and curls up under the bark of the tree, disappearing into the darkness. It is inspired somewhat by the idea of ghost architecture, the traces of a building which remain on adjacent buildings after demolition.

The piece is installed at the Forest Hills Cemetery and Contemporary Sculpture Path in Boston Massachusetts, and was a part of an Exhibition entitled "Dwellings."
